Dr. David Fallah DDS, FICD, FACS
Dr. Fallah is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He graduated with honors in restorative dentistry in 1993 from the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry. Since then, he continues his education multiple times a year at different medical, surgical and anesthesia conferences to keep up with the latest in cutting-edge dental technology. On top of his vast knowledge and expertise, he received advanced education through a general dentistry program at Fort Benning in Georgia, and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.
Dr. Fallah started teaching clinical dentistry at UMKC School of Dentistry upon his graduation. He then joined the U.S. Army Dental Corps and practiced general dentistry for five years before entering the oral and maxillofacial surgery training program. He has been practicing and teaching the full scope of his specialty for the past 20 years at various Army residency training programs as assistant program director and program director. He served for nine years as the chairman of the oral and maxillofacial surgery department and was the founding director of the residency training program at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He retired from active duty after 25 plus years of honorable service to our nation.
Immediately after retirement, he was employed by the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso, as an associate professor of surgery in the department of surgery and served as the chief of the division of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He also served as the director of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University Medical Center of El Paso, providing maxillofacial trauma call coverage while supervising and teaching residents who were rotating through army oral and maxillofacial surgery residency programs. Dr. Fallah also served on various medical and surgical committees as The Member-at-Large and as the Secretary of the Medical Executive Committee.
His goal as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon is to serve his fellow human beings and provide them with the highest quality surgical care with the outmost dignity and respect for all. His surgical fields of interest include dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, orthognathic corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, maxillofacial cosmetic surgery and pathology and reconstructive surgery. He is honored to serve you. He is also honored to serve as a board examiner of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
